HO WOOD | Essential Oil

Ho Wood is the only botanical I use in all eight of my core Tendril & Thistle fragrance blends.

That might suggest it has a very recognizable presence in my blends, but the opposite is true. I use it because of what it does to the botanicals around it.

It can ground the brightness of citrus, soften sharper notes, and bring balance to heavier woods and earthy notes. Depending on what surrounds it, Ho Wood seems to take on a slightly different role, and that versatility is exactly why I reach for it so often.
