LAVENDER | Essential Oil

Lavender is one of the most familiar botanicals in fragrance, and one I thought I knew well. Working with it in blends has shown me just how much more it can do. This week’s Field Journal looks beyond its familiar softness and includes a simple blending experience so you can explore it for yourself.

Lavender appears in several of my blends, including Refresh, Ease, and Unwind, where I use it in very different ways...from adding freshness and lift to bringing softness to the fragrance.
